Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician
Join our dedicated team at a prominent healthcare facility in Caro, Michigan, as a Family Medicine Physician. This vital outpatient clinic role offers coverage from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. As a key member of our practice, you will help address a recruitment gap and play an essential role in providing quality care to our community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult and pediatric patients
- Conduct routine physical examinations and assess health concerns
- Take part in after-hours call based on a rotation schedule
- Collaborate with a support team, including Medical Assistants and a Receptionist
- Utilize on-site services such as Point-of-Care testing and Diagnostic Imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Heathland EMR system
- Manage an average of 20 patients per day
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Strong clinical skills in both adult and pediatric care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Local candidates are preferred; no flights will be arranged
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan Medical License (MI) - Required
- BLS and ACLS certifications - Required
- Provide a copy of the NPDB self-query (within 30 days) - Required
