Urology Physician Locums Job Logansport, Indiana

Details for Assignment:
Start Date: Aiming for March/April ( days credentialing required prior to start)
Ongoing need: 1 2 weeks per month (one provider already scheduled for 2 weeks/month beginning in March)
Schedule: Monday Thursday clinic and OR (typically divide the schedule evenly, with two days dedicated to clinic and two days dedicated to the operating room. One day is all clinic, another day is all OR)
Clinic hours (8A-5P)
Patient Volume: 24 scheduled patients/day (100% scheduled, no walk-ins)
Patient Population: 100% adult
Practice Breakdown: 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient
Solo Urologist practice
Supervision of clinic APPs expected

Procedural Expectations:
Required:
• General Adult Urology
• Ureteroscopy
• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
Preferred:
• Advanced endoscopic techniques
• Laparoscopic surgeries
• TRUS biopsies
• Renal and bladder ultrasound
• Prostatectomy
• Nephrectomy
• Pelvic lymph node dissection

Surgical/OR Volume Expectations:
Hospital-based surgeries: 6 per week
Office/clinic-based procedures: 17 per week

Clinic Resources & Support:
3 exam rooms
Onsite lab and X-ray
Equipment includes disposable cystoscope and standard reusable office-based procedure equipment
Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 LPN, 3 MAs, plus office support
EMR: Cerner (inpatient and outpatient)

Requirements:
Board Certification required
BLS required
