ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Pediatric Hospitalist for 24-hour on-call coverage starting in October 2025 and ongoing for a facility in Seneca County, OH. The role primarily focuses on newborn care with occasional pediatric and adolescent patients, and requires the provider to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for timely response.

• Open Coverage Dates: December 25, 2025 (8:00 AM) December 29, 2025 (8:00 AM)

• Call Coverage: 24-hour shifts

• Ongoing Opportunities: Available beyond initial dates

• Patient Population: Approximately 90% newborns, 5% pediatric, 5% adolescents

• Average Daily Census: 3 4 newborns, 0 1 pediatric patient every 2 months

• Additional: Medical students may observe rounds with newborn patients

• Location Requirement: Must live or stay within 30 minutes of the hospital

• Emergency Temporary Privileges: Available for providers with clean background and active Ohio license and DEA
  

• Board Certification: Board certified preferred; board eligible within 5 years of residency considered

• Licensure: Ohio State Medical License Required

• DEA: Ohio DEA Required

• Certifications: BLS, NRP Required

• Clinical Skills: Newborn experience, X-ray interpretation, circumcision proficiency (mandatory)

• Preferred Skills: Umbilical vein/artery catheter (UVC/UAC) experience highly preferred

• Availability: Must be available for December dates to be considered
