Location: Southwest Louisiana metro (serves 350,000+). Schedule: dedicated procedure block time, 7 days call/month shared. Contract: full-time, permanent, hospital-employed. - MD/DO with Gastroenterology fellowship - Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology - Ability to obtain state medical license - Experience with ERCP required; EUS experience preferred - Eligible for J-1 waiver or H-1B sponsorship (if applicable)

An established, not-for-profit regional health system in Southwest Louisiana is recruiting a Gastroenterologist to step into immediate demand due to a planned retirement.
This is a hospital-employed role with infrastructure already in place, strong referrals, dedicated procedure time and newly built endoscopy suites.

Practice Highlights:
• Join an established GI physician + APP support
• Replacing a retiring physician, built-in patient base
• Full-spectrum GI
• ERCP available
• EUS equipment on site (currently referred out = expansion opportunity)
• Newly constructed endoscopy suites with surgical backup
• Dedicated procedure block time
• EPIC EMR
• 7 days of call per month with shared coverage support

• $900K+ earning potential
