Shift: 9H Days 9, Description: Unit Notes: ITEMS OF NOTE:- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates)- OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated- Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Cardiac Cath Tech- # suites/labs: 2 labs, 1 hybrid room, 6 bed recovery area- #cases per day on average: 5 cases per day- Required Certifications: BLS- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line placement & drain placement, loop recorders- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have recent experience with heart caths & peripheral caths. Prefer experience with Philips equipment & McKesson.- EMR/Equipment: EMR - Epic. Equipment - Philips monitoring equipment, McKesson in the labs with Philips tables. 1 of the labs has a BiPlane- Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Charge nurse - take an assignment sometimes- Shifts & Scheduling: 8Hr shifts, 0700-1530- Weeknight/Call Requirements : On call 2-3 nights per week- Weekend/Call Requirements: On call every 3rd weekend- Holiday/Call Requirements: On call 2-3 holidays per year- Floating Requirements: Typically do not float- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided- Unit/Department specific orientation: 32Hrs, which is 4 shiftsDate Entered: 8/3/2025 Cancellation Policy:12 hours per 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN rauma Level:2 Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:9 Required Certifications:BLS (AHA), Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, Contract Weeks:91, Requirements: BLS (AHA)
