Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, IN
Join a dedicated team serving our nation's veterans! We are looking for General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The role can be based either in your own office or on a per diem basis at a local facility, provided you are within a 50-mile radius of your home address. The work is on an ongoing, PRN basis with flexibility in scheduling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interview-based assessments and physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete administrative tasks including report submissions and necessary addendums.
- Work in your own office or at a VES facility, with options for half-day or full-day shifts.
- Provide evaluation and diagnostic services in respiratory and cardiovascular health.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnostic evaluations.
- Must possess an active and unrestricted medical license.
- Willingness to undergo DMA training for certification.
- Own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current medical license number.
- AANP certification.
- Documentation of home address for presentation.
- Must confirm availability and willingness to perform General Medicine functions.
