This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) care on a PRN day shift basis at Mercy Hospital Washington. The nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the nursing process, coordinating care with other departments, and maintaining patient confidentiality and professional accountability. Required qualifications include an accredited RN degree, active RN license, OR experience, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Education & Licensure:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
Experience:
- Candidates must possess hands-on Operating Room experience.
Certifications Required:
ACLS β Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS β Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift
Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed
