About the FacilityA Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationIf you love the outdoors, come visit Decatur, Illinois which is home to many attractions including the Scovill Zoo, Lake Decatur, and the Museum of Illinois.
About the Clinician's WorkdayCredentialing takes about one month. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (40 hours per week) with a one-hour lunch break. The provider will see approximately 8-10 patients per day, with 30-minute appointments and a mix of 60% follow-ups and 40% new visits, noting a high no-show rate. This role is open to NPs only, with no call responsibilities. The clinic serves patients of all ages, primarily adults, and uses EcoVantage EMR. The provider will work alongside three psych providers and two primary care providers, with support from a dedicated RN and MA. Ideal candidates will have addiction medicine or mental health experience, and familiarity with HIV, Hep B, or performing Pap smears is a plus. The clinic operates under an integrated care model with collaboration between behavioral health and primary care.
