Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Michigan requiring ICU experience, EPIC charting skills, and a valid MI RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position located in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU
• Responsibilities may include floating to the Medical-Surgical unit if needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• 12-hour shifts with both day (7a-7:30p) and night (7p-7:30a) coverage
• Works every other weekend and every other holiday
• Possible low census on-call with a minimum call back of 2 hours
• Expected to work efficiently, manage change well, and complete tasks independently
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Must comply with mandatory masking policy if declining flu or COVID vaccination during flu season
• 36 unbillable low census hours are allowed per contract
• Call-back pay applies if called in from on-call status

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Medical-Surgical experience highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
