Our newly reopened Behavioral Health Unit is dedicated to meeting a vital need in our community. We are passionate about bringing professionals to our team who are committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and creating a safe, supportive environment for healing. How you'll contribute

• Proficient in assessing patient conditions and making timely determinations of patient needs.
• Implements leadership and team coordination by supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring smooth unit operations by providing direct support to all staff members.
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Facilitate and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement and support of PI and other initiatives.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

What we are looking for

• Current Nevada State RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
• A minimum of (1) year RN experience in an acute hospital setting
