RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Multiple shift options available Monday through Friday:
- Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Evening shift: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Night shift: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Late night: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Overnight: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday with trauma call team
• Rotate weekend call every four weeks with typical call shifts of 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
• Call utilized to fill evening/night staffing Monday-Thursday, evenly distributed among team
• Maximum 60 hours combined work and call per week
• Required: 3+ years operating room experience, trauma experience, shift and call flexibility
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred: CNOR certification, burn experience, robotic experience, neuro experience
• Work with diverse surgical procedures including trauma, neuro, orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, burn care, and more
• Dress code follows AORN standards
• EMR system: Meditech
• Must demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and be a team player

This medical center operates a comprehensive 13-room operating suite with a team of 25 registered nurses and 29 certified surgical technologists. The facility handles a wide range of surgical specialties including high-acuity burn cases, trauma procedures, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiac surgery, and robotic procedures. The organization maintains 24/7 trauma capabilities with dedicated trauma teams and provides specialized services across multiple surgical specialties, making it a dynamic and challenging work environment for experienced OR professionals.
