Clinical Volume

Program Volume: 90 surgeries/procedures per month

Procedures Performed

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
Thoracotomies
Lobectomies
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairs
Arterial bypasses
Aortic valve replacements

Schedule & Call

Schedule: Scheduled clinic hours + call
Call Type: Beeper
Call Ratio:5:1
Call Response Time:30 minutes
ER Call Coverage: Required

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient rounding
Surgical consults
Emergency department call coverage
Admissions required
Assigned & unassigned rounding patients

Licensure & Certifications

Board Status:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
Fellowship:
- Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship preferred
