Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU Stepdown night position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the ICU Stepdown (3200 Step Down) unit
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- 13-week assignment
- Patient population consists of stepdown-level care in a hospital setting
- Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on unit needs
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates living within 50 miles may receive a reduced pay rate
- Local contract staff within a 50-mile radius may complete up to three consecutive 13-week contracts at the same facility before a required 1-year break or transfer
- Documentation and credentialing must show no significant employment gaps for eligibility
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in ICU Stepdown or relevant specialty
- No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
- Current certifications must remain valid throughout the first 30 days of the assignment unless proof of renewal is provided
- A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
