Position Overview

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to support a high-volume, fast-paced cardiac catheterization unit. This role supports interventional cardiology, structural heart, peripheral, and EP procedures and requires call coverage.

Unit Details

• Beds: 33
• Staff: 23
• Patient Ratios: 3:1
• Shift Coverage: Days only
• Call: Evenings & weekends required
• Equipment: MacLab, GE, Philips
• Charting: Meditech

Procedures Performed

• Cardiac catheterizations
• Interventional coronary cases
• Structural heart procedures
• Peripheral & peripheral interventions
• Electrophysiology (EP) procedures

Requirements (Must Have)

• BLS & ACLS
• CVT or Radiology Technologist background
• Cath Lab experience (acute care setting)

• Strong team player
• Critical thinker in high-acuity situations
• Compassionate and patient-focused
• Able to adapt quickly and work independently when needed

Dress Code

• OR scrubs provided

* Day-shift Cath Lab assignment with evening and weekend call required * High-acuity cardiac and interventional environment * Experience with coronary, structural heart, peripheral, and EP procedures expected * Must be comfortable working as part of a fast-paced, collaborative Cath Lab team * OR scrubs provided by facility
