Job Details – Boston Nursing Assignment

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Unit: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) – East
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Duration: 14-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed, excluding on-call)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (start times between 8:00 AM and 12:30 AM)
• On-Call: One night on-call shift per week (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, minimum 2 hours if called in)
• Patient Ratio: 2:1, following ASPAN guidelines
• EMR System: Epic
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2150 - $2300

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience (post-anesthesia care)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• PALS or ENPC certification (equivalency accepted)
• Flu vaccine required prior to start
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or travel)
• No local candidates considered for this Boston healthcare job

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from OR, IR, and GI procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Adhere to ASPAN guidelines and hospital protocols
