Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an overnight shift, requiring NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT (R)(CT), and NY Injection certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital with level 2 trauma designation
- CT Scan department serving diverse inpatient and emergency populations
- Night shift hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Utilizes advanced CT imaging equipment
- May encounter trauma and acute care cases due to level 2 trauma center setting
- Responsible for conducting CT imaging procedures for a variety of inpatient and trauma cases
- Required to complete facility-specific online training modules prior to assignment start
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
- Candidates with previous employment at this system may require additional review for eligibility
Requirements
- NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
- NY Injection certified
- ARRT (R)(CT) credentials required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- Must provide two professional references from previous managers
- If licensure or certifications are expiring during the assignment, proof of renewal or course registration is required
