Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care for various surgical cases including general, endocrine, cardiovascular, and obstetric procedures in a Level 3 trauma facility. They work shifts ranging from 8 to 24 hours, provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics, and coordinate with anesthesia nurses and support technicians in multiple operating rooms. CRNAs perform regional blocks and line placements, requiring ACLS certification and at least one year of obstetric anesthesia experience.
