The Audiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatric populations. The role emphasizes individualized, one-on-one patient care in an outpatient setting, using advanced diagnostic and hearing technology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic hearing evaluations and advanced audiologic testing
- Assess and treat hearing and balance disorders
- Conduct vestibular testing (VNG) as applicable
- Perform Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing (preferred, not required)
- Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and programming
- Educate patients and caregivers on hearing loss and communication strategies
- Review and document test results in compliance with hospital and state standards
- Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation professionals for coordinated care
- Minimum 1 year of audiology experience
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Au.D. Audiology Program
- Active Massachusetts Audiologist License
- Current BLS/CPR (AHA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from ASHA
- Experience with ABR testing (especially neonates) and/or vestibular testing (VNG)
