Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown/PCU travel assignment, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Trauma Care Stepdown (Progressive Care Unit) of a hospital setting
• Care for trauma stepdown patients requiring intermediate level of monitoring
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 6:45PM to 7:15AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Provide nursing care to trauma stepdown patients with intermediate acuity needs
• Documentation and references are required as part of the application process
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers are accepted

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Progressive Care, Telemetry, or Trauma Stepdown required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
