Endocrinologist - El Paso, TX (Offering relocation assistance)
Location: Las Cruces, NM & El Paso, TX
Job Type: Full-Time In-Person
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts No weekends
Position Summary
A skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist is sought to provide outpatient care across Las Cruces, NM, and El Paso, TX. The role emphasizes personalized chronic disease management and integrative care within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic bone diseases
• Interpret DXA scans, Echolight REMS densitometry, and thyroid ultrasounds
• Perform or supervise thyroid FNA biopsies (preferred but not required)
• Collaborate with podiatry and wound care teams for comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide consultative support on endocrine-related wound healing and metabolic optimization
• Support the development and expansion of services in the El Paso area
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Endocrinology
• Active or eligible for medical licensure in Texas and New Mexico
• Proficient in interpreting DXA scans and thyroid ultrasounds
• Experience with thyroid FNA biopsies is a plus
• Wound care experience or interest is preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Willingness to travel (approximately 25%) between sites
• Must relocate to Las Cruces, NM prior to starting
