ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1980
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-Site Position
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required

ICU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency with hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
• EPIC charting experience required
• Available to work through the holidays
• Successful completion of on-site, timed ECG exam (study materials provided)
• Physical exam required prior to start
• Flu vaccination required (medical or religious documentation needed 10 days before start)
• County Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in the following NY counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany
• At least 1 year of experience required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac and respiratory support devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in ongoing education and complete required ECG exam upon arrival
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including vaccination and physical requirements
• Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
