The Analytical Lab Technician performs complex chemical analyses on finished products and in-process materials using advanced laboratory instruments such as ICP-OES, GC, and HPLC in a GMP-regulated environment. The role involves adhering to established methods, utilizing LIMS for data management, and supporting quality and operational objectives through testing, investigations, and instrument optimization. This full-time, day-shift contract position offers paid training and requires at least one year of analytical experience and familiarity with laboratory software systems.

This company is a major manufacturer of infant and child nutritional powders and the ZSP Analytical Chemistry Team is responsible for the analytical testing of finished products and in-process materials.

- Analysts are expected to follow established methods, utilize approved laboratory techniques, and perform complex calculations to ensure accurate results are delivered in a timely manner. In addition to release testing, analysts perform investigations and instrument/method optimization to support Operations and Quality objectives. Analysts are also expected to utilize a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) to maintain records in compliance with good manufacturing and regulatory practices
- Positive, can-do attitude
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in science or technical subject desired.
- Minimum of one year of analytical experience required.
- Instrumentation experience with ICP-OES/ICP-MS, GC, NIR, and HPLC/UPLC/HPIC desired.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills desired.
- Proficiency with standard laboratory operations, equipment, and technique required.
- Experience with the calibration and maintenance of lab equipment desired.
- Familiarity with laboratory computer systems, including Chromeleon, Syngistix, and Sample Manager desired.
- Experience in an FDA-regulated GMP environment required.
