We are currently seeking a dedicated Hematology and Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Arrey, NM. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, state-of-the-art outpatient facility.

Work Schedule:

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Call Requirements: Some call during weekdays shared with employed providers. Calls generally involve:
  • Questions from RNs about patients
  • Patients undergoing chemotherapy
  • Minimal consults from the Emergency Department

Patient and Staff Details:

• Patients per Shift: Up to 17
• Support Staff:
  • 1 Medical Assistant
  • Several Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Pharmacy support for educational starts for chemotherapy
• Additional Facilities: Co-located with radiation oncology

Job Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• License: Must have an active state license in New Mexico
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Experience: Fellowship preferred, but not mandatory
