Registered Nurse (Orthopedics) provides independent nursing care for orthopedic patients using the nursing process—assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating—while managing complex clinical situations and delegating to other care providers. Responsibilities include administering medications/treatments per protocol, monitoring effectiveness and side effects, documenting care, and delivering patient and family education tailored to psychosocial and cultural needs. Requires RN licensure (or compact), BLS, preferably a BSN and ~1 year orthopedic experience; full-time position.
