Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position, requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit located on Floor 6
• Caring for a diverse adult medical and surgical patient population
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• RTO (requested time off) must be less than 1 week
• Returning employees and travelers who have worked as perm staff at affiliated facilities in the past 2 years are not eligible

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Candidates must not have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
