The Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician provides clinical care in a critical access hospital and multi-specialty clinic, handling routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births, C-sections, and high-risk pregnancies. The role involves on-call shifts, labor and delivery coverage, emergent gynecological surgeries, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Required qualifications include board certification or eligibility, relevant state licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA.
6 8 call shifts per month
24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Critical Access Hospital & Multi-Specialty Clinic
25-bed hospital
Labor & Delivery:
3 L&D beds
4 postpartum beds
Level I Nursery
Level I Trauma (36 weeks and above)
Deliveries: per month
Clinic Volume: 18 patients/day
EMR: Epic
OB/GYN clinic care
OB and GYN call coverage via L&D and ED
Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries
C-Sections (must assist/supervise if needed)
VBACs
Repair of 3rd 4th degree lacerations
OB inductions
Emergent GYN surgeries (D&Cs, ectopics, ER consults)
High-risk OB (with transfer support when needed)
2 OB/GYNs, 2 FP-OBs, 2 CNMs
L&D staffed with 2 3 RNs
In-house anesthesia (CRNAs)
OR staff on 30-minute response time
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN
Washington license highly preferred
Clean malpractice history
BLS, ACLS, DEA certifications
