- NP/PA coverage: Mon-Fri 12p-9p, Sat-Sun 11a-8p
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Work collaboratively with advanced practice providers and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage an average daily volume of 75 patients in a high-acuity setting
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Participate in shift hand-offs and departmental meetings as needed
Additional Information
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Emergency Medicine residency training required
- Louisiana medical license required
- ATLS and ACLS not required for EM-boarded physicians
