We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist to join a high-performing anesthesia team in a hospital setting. This locum opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with no call requirements.

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgical and other medical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
• Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients physiological conditions throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

General, Orthopedic, Obstetrics

• MDs supervise CRNAs
• CRNA to MD ratio: 2:1
• MDs also perform their own cases
• 20 anesthesia rooms onsite

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology
• ECFMG and FLEX certification
• Active Illinois medical license (required at time of submission)
• Familiarity with iPro and Epic charting systems

• No in-house or pager call required
• Overtime is not expected but may be offered
