RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on 6W Transplant Nephrology unit with 20 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Position eligible for 48 guaranteed hours
• Med/Surg care focus with nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, and dialysis experience required
• Dialysis procedures are performed off the unit
• Must have Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification required
• 3 weekend shifts per month scheduling requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Agency/Contract nurses float first in floating policy
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs with optional black scrub pants
• Unit secretary available during day shifts
• Patient care technicians (PCTs) available for support
• Unit educator available for guidance
• Virtual nurse completes patient admissions allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients
