This is a 24-hour STEMI beeper call position with emergency/temporary privileges available. The facility is open to physicians with immediate or near-term availability and is also seeking candidates interested in potential long-term or permanent placement.

• Average Consults: 3 phone consults / 24 hrs

• Admissions: 2 per day

• Patients Seen: 2 per day

• Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes

• Call Back %: 10%

• Call Ratio: 90%

• Practice Setting: Inpatient Only

• Trauma Level: II Stroke Certified: Yes

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

• Active Arizona License
  

• Must be comfortable handling all aspects of interventional call coverage independently

• Low Malpractice and no background for temporary privileges

• No supervision required (no APPs or residents)

This facility is looking to maintain consistent 24-hour STEMI call coverage while recruiting for a permanent Interventional Cardiologist. Locum physicians who perform well may be considered for future full-time opportunities.
