Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a NC or compact license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital
• Work schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 13-week contract assignment
• Care provided for acute emergency patients across all adult and pediatric populations
• Provide assessment, triage, and care for emergency department patients
• Respond effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Must submit US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• A minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience is required
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or accepted equivalent is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
