Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs.
Responsibilities- Identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Developing, implementing, and coordinating individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiating assessments based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing the care of patients.
- Documenting care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocating for evidence-based practice care standards and supporting the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Providing patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required, with at least 1 year in a related specialty.
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
- BLS-AHA certification required.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
- NRP required; ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM preferred.
