In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care to a diverse population, ensuring their health and safety in a secure environment. This rotating shift position offers the opportunity to work day and evening hours, fostering a dynamic and rewarding work experience that truly impacts lives.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license and current state licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, security-sensitive environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in correctional or similar high-acuity settings
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Previous correctional healthcare experience or related field experience
Other Requirements:
- Ability to rotate between day and evening shifts as needed
- Valid CPR and basic life support (BLS) certification
- Strong commitment to safety, confidentiality, and patient-centered care
