The Gastroenterology Physician is responsible for performing specialized procedures such as scoping, ERCP, EUS, and endoscopy to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions. The role requires around-the-clock availability with 24-hour calls and completion of EMR training modules prior to starting. Candidates must be board-certified in gastroenterology, possess an active medical license, and have DEA certification.
Shift: 24-hour call (7a-7a) - Mon-Sun
Required Procedures:
- Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
EMR Required Training:
- Credentialing Preapp and full app must be completed and submitted to move the provider into "applicant in training" to generate an AD account and begin EMR account set up. Once AD account creation begins, it can take up to 5 days to create the account.
- Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual (PPL) training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to the provider's first day.
- First Day Details - Site requires completion of EMR Modules and training before first day details can be released.
- All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidate's submission at the time of presentation.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Gastroenterology
- Active CO License or IMLC
- Active DEA
