Job Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiology care across outpatient and inpatient settings
• Cover scheduled clinic time Monday to Friday, starting at approximately 2 hours per day, with potential expansion as needed
• On-call responsibilities, including beeper call with a 30-minute response time
• Rounding required in both inpatient and outpatient departments
• Read and interpret cardiology test results (EKGs, ECHOs, etc.) as part of daily duties
• Provide consults and admissions based on hospital census and clinic follow-up needs

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Cardiology required; fellowship preferred
• Active North Carolina medical license required (NC licensure only)
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to obtain temporary hospital privileges if necessary
• Minimum credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

• Hospital Beds: 86-bed facility with onsite hospitalists managing admissions and initial patient care
• Technology: EMR systems include McKesson and Athena
