Indiana Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our team on a locum tenens basis near Crane, Indiana. This opportunity offers the chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a thriving inpatient rehabilitation unit, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct face-to-face visits with patients three times weekly throughout their stay. Manage admissions and discharges, ensuring thorough care planning and execution. Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans to enhance patient rehabilitation outcomes. Lead weekly interdisciplinary team conferences to coordinate patient care strategies. Provide daily rounding and maintain 24-hour call coverage during the assignment. Qualifications: Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems preferred. Proven ability to manage inpatient rehabilitation care, including admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
