Telemetry Nurse - SCU/Telemetry Unit

Schedule / Shift12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends and holidays.
Job DescriptionJoin our SCU/Telemetry Unit as a Telemetry Nurse, where you will provide high-quality patient care and support for a variety of diagnoses ranging from trauma to chronic respiratory conditions. Ideal candidates will possess a positive attitude and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and patient advocacy.
Responsibilities- Provide care for patients in a telemetry and stepdown environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies as per physician orders.
- Participate in patient education and family support.
- Assist with procedures and technical tasks as needed.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NIHSS certification is a plus.
- Active nursing license appropriate to the facility.
- Previous experience in telemetry care preferred.
