Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of ongoing activities.
Communicate and coordinate with facility staff, visitors, and law enforcement as required to support the security-related needs of the location.
Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Remain alert to potential security-related hazards or suspicious behavior and take appropriate action in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
