Locum tenens Hematology/Oncology physician in North Carolina; outpatient-focused (avg 15 pts/day) with rare inpatient consults; M–Th coverage; orientation day prior; start in January; ongoing assignment; Epic Oncology EHR. - Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (required) - 3–5+ years clinical experience in Hem/Onc - Current BLS (AHA) - Ability to start in January - Comfortable using Epic Oncology EHR

Locum Tenens: Hematology/Oncology Physician for Ongoing M-Th Coverage We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional, focused care in a supportive environment, primarily managing outpatient cases with no night or weekend shifts required. Key Responsibilities & Volume Manage an average of 15 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting. Provide expert consultation for rare inpatient cases (estimated 1???2 per year). Collaborate with 1???2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a multidisciplinary team. Utilize the Epic Oncology Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation. Attend a mandatory orientation the day prior to the first scheduled shift. Requirements Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (Required). Minimum of 3???5 years of experience in the field. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Required). Ability to start promptly in January.
