Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse Practitioner Locum Need
Schedule:

• 3x12-hour shifts/week

• Mix of day (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) and night shifts (50/50 split)

• Every 3rd weekend required

• No call

• Holidays paid at 1.5x

Practice Setting:

• Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

• Facility Type: Hospital

• Bed Size: 477

• Average Census: 5 12 patients/day

• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, and pediatric patients

• Support Staff: RNs, APPs, attending physicians

Skills & Procedures Required:

• Critical care for high-acuity cardiac patients

• Post-operative cardiac management

• Experience with congenital heart defects

• Pediatric CICU experience required

Requirements:

• Board Certified NP (ANCC or AANP) in Pediatric Cardiology

• Active MA license (no licensing assistance available)

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

• MA Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and DEA license required

• Minimum 2 years experience in pediatric CICU
