PATIENT INFORMATION - Patient Demographics: Either ages 5 and up (all ages), or pediatric patients ages 517; Developmentally disabled patients with mental health disorders
- Patient Volume/Census: 610 clients per 7.5-hour day depending on visit type

- Case Mix: Anxiety Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Depression, Disruptive Mood Disorder, OCD, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder; small fraction involves JV220 forms

JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active CA State License
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification required within 5 years of residency)
- DEA: Required; authorized to prescribe controlled substances
- Certifications: Flu vaccination; COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- Experience: Ability to treat developmental disability + mental health population
- Other Qualifications: Must enter hours in Vemsta platform; strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse populations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and MSEs, providing DSM-based diagnoses
- Provide ongoing medication management for assigned patients
- Use the clinic'selectronic health record system and follow Santa Clara County Psychiatric Medical Guidelines
- Collaborate with medical director, nurses, clinicians, and case managers for coordinated care
- Obtain and review diagnostic data, labs, and consultations relevant to patient treatment
- Prepare detailed written reports, documentation, diagnoses, and summaries as required
- Contribute to individualized treatment planning with clinical staff
- Provide psychiatric services in outpatient clinics via telehealth and in person
- Offer consultation and peer guidance to psychiatrists and therapists as needed
- Consult with clinic leadership regarding policies and treatment-related issues
- Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and performance improvement activities
- Advise families and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment, and intersection with developmental disabilities
- Prepare legal and court-related documents as necessary
