- Consistent Schedule: Work a full-time, 4x10-hour schedule, from 10 AM to 8:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You MUST be available to work four weeks per month. The facility will prioritize candidates with availability for these shifts.
- Diverse Caseload: The role involves covering a variety of services, including Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro cases (no Heart or OB). You can expect to see an average of 1-9 patients per day, with a patient population spanning all ages (excluding neonates).
- Collaborative Environment: You will be medically directed by an anesthesiologist. The typical ratio is 1:2 or 1:3 (anesthesiologists to CRNA) for low-acuity cases, and 1:4. You will not work solo.
- EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting; Epic experience is preferred.
- Required Skills: You should be proficient in procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and arterial line placement. You will also be required to work in the NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia) setting.
- Willing to License: The facility is willing to license qualified candidates.
- Quick Privileging: The credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
- Provide anesthesia care in the Operating Room and NORA settings.
- Perform intubation, central line, and arterial line placements as needed.
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other support staff.
- Provide coverage for Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro cases.
- Board Status: NBCRNA Board Certified is REQUIRED.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required (no new grads).
- Licensure: An active Kentucky State License is required, but the facility is willing to license.
- Vaccinations: Both COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.
- DEA: A DEA license is required.
- The target start date is December 1, 2025.
