Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN with an active IL RN license for a night shift position in a busy hospital unit with a Level III NICU.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Unit cares for OB ED, antepartum, and labor and delivery patients
• Level III NICU capabilities supported
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Provide nursing care to laboring mothers, antepartum patients, and support emergency OB situations
• Holiday rotation and every other weekend coverage are expected
• All positions are auto offer
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced rate based on the facility radius rule, which varies by state

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA required)
• Verification of license through Nursys and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• All travelers must provide a US Social Security Number and a US address
