Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced trauma and cardiovascular unit. The nurse will be accountable for overseeing patient care and ensuring that all patients receive appropriate treatment and follow-up care.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate patient care during assigned shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses and report any changes to the medical team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Preferred 3 years of experience; 2+ years with strong experience may be considered.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Prior charge experience and familiarity with trauma care preferred.
