Operating Room Registered Nurse - Moderate Sedation

ScheduleDays, 10 or 12-hour shifts, with on-call for weekends and nights.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in moderate sedation to provide exceptional care for a diverse range of patients. The specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma at a level 1 trauma center. This position involves working with advanced technology, including two Da Vinci robots utilized across multiple services.
Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care in the operating room.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients accordingly.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthetic teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced surgical technology as needed.
- Assist with various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Current RN License in New York.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in a level 1 trauma center.
- Moderate sedation experience is required.
- IR (Interventional Radiology) experience is also required.
