A Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient medical care, managing admissions, coordinating code team responses, and overseeing patient treatment during 12-hour shifts. The role requires proficiency with EMR systems like EPIC and the ability to perform critical procedures such as intubations and central line insertions. The physician must maintain appropriate licensure and immunizations, including in-state DEA registration and COVID-19 vaccination, to ensure compliance and optimal patient care.

- Sept 7-8, 10, 13, 22, 23, 30
- Oct 1-6, 14-20, 16-20, 19-20, 24-25, 30-31
- Shift: 7a-7p
- Clinical Information:
- Call Responsibilities: Code Team Call while on shift & Admit Team Call while on shift
- EMR: EPIC
- Patient volume: 16
- Support Staff: Physician Supervisor & Practice Manager
- Required:
- CV must be in Month / Year format
- Must have license in hand at time of submission, or proof that the license application has been submitted
- Any gaps greater than 30 days will require an explanation on the CV
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Active IN License
- IN DEA or easily transferrable DEA that can remain in IN for duration of assignment
- Procedures MUST be able to perform and show recent case logs: Intubations &
- Central Line Preferred
