Position Details:

Patient Population: General Cardiology Patients
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Hospital & Clinics)
Responsibilities:

• Provide non-invasive cardiology care across two hospitals (St. Peter's Hospital & Samaritan Hospital)

• Perform procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Participate in call coverage (1 weeknight per week, 1:5 weekend rotation with APP support)

Required Procedures:

• Echocardiography

• Nuclear Cardiology

• Vascular Ultrasound

• General Cardiology evaluations

EMR System: TBD
Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for weekend rounding and night coverage
Days Per Month: TBD
On-Call/Weekends:

• 1 weeknight per week (telephone call, rarely required to come in)

• 1:5 weekend rotation (APP support for rounding and call coverage)

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Cardiology - REQUIRED

• NY Medical License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED

• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
