Join a Leading Neonatology Practice!
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs at a prominent medical facility in the suburbs of Las Vegas. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established practice offering comprehensive neonatal services.
Job Responsibilities:- Join and collaborate with a skilled team of providers in the Las Vegas suburbs.
- Provide care during 24-hour shifts with in-house on call.
- Full-time position with 7.5 shifts/month (2160 hours).
- Support from NNPs during shifts.
- Deliver care across four area hospitals, with around 1,700 annual admissions and over 10,000 births per year.
- Rotate among facilities, spending one month at each location (Summerlin, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills, and Henderson). Each has a Level-III NICU.
- Utilize services including iNO, high-frequency ventilation, and total body cooling.
- Participate in an active transport program and collaborate with perinatal and pediatric subspecialties.
- Engage in robust CQI and clinical research initiatives.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of eligibility).
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a Nevada medical license.
- Recent NPDB report (within 30 to 60 days active).
- Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Nevada Medical License (or willing to obtain).
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be acquired prior to starting the position.
