Locum role with dedicated private sleep room and full-shift onsite coverage at Chippenham Hospital. Locum OBGYN physician, on-site full shifts in Richmond, VA (Chippenham Hospital); open dates April–Dec; inpatient focus including labor, inductions, deliveries (C-sections), ER/floor consults; must cover entire shift with no OB hospitalist backup. • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology • Active Virginia medical license • Experience managing labor, inductions, C-sections (inpatient) • Ability to use Meditech (orientation provided if needed) • Available for on-site full-shift coverage and phone consults

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locums OBGYN Physician to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This position is a locum tenens opportunity with a focus on providing exceptional care at Chippenham Hospital. Your expertise and commitment will be crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients during the specified period. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and manage inductions. Triage labor patients and conduct ER and floor consultations. Handle trauma calls and follow up on established OBGYN patients in an inpatient setting. Be available for phone consultations to support office NPs with emergent patient concerns. Perform deliveries, including C-sections, as needed. Requirements: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Active Virginia medical license. Availability for on-site, full-shift coverage with no OB Hospitalist backup. Proficiency with Meditech for inpatient settings; familiarity with eCW for outpatient settings is a plus. Participate in a one-hour on-site orientation if unfamiliar with Meditech. Schedule: Open dates include: April 4 (6 am) - April 7 (7 am) April 28 (6 am) - April 30 (7 am) May 2 (6 am) - May 5 (7 am) Additional dates available through December Additional Information: On-site call coverage is mandatory for the entire shift duration. Dedicated private sleep room and doctors‘ lounge are available. A typical day may involve managing 3-7 deliveries.
