RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, and 5 behavioral health areas
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred experience: Meditech experience, trauma experience, holding inpatient experience, CPI
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Use equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
• Work with MEDITECH EMR system
• Perform typical procedures: splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation
• Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

This medical center features a comprehensive emergency services department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track areas, and 5 behavioral health units. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support emergency and trauma care, with an experienced staff of 111 members. The emergency department provides care for a wide range of cases from routine emergency visits to complex trauma and cardiac situations, with specialized areas for behavioral health patients.
